The steroids needed to stabilize my allergic reaction to chemo have really helped. I ended the prescription on Friday and have now had two days of nothing. I feel good.
This week I start the second round and I admit that I am scared. Fortunately, I have two projects that keep me going, one being the reorganizing of my office space and the other being the follow through of the big writing projects I have delayed for years. I will use this time to make this happen.
On the diet front, I've had a liquid day; only taking orange juice, milk, water, and two Ensures. I hope to have lost a pound by tomorrow. I'll eat normally tomorrow. Along with the diet, I have walked for one hour each day for the past 5 days. It was actually hard to do. I hope that in two weeks it will get easier.
