Well, we had to delay round two. Seems that I continue to have an allergic reaction to chemo. At the end of the 15 days my skin began to welt up into red bumps. I sneezed and couldn't eat from the heavy nausea.
The doctor stopped it all and rescheduled for another 15 days later. This would be to clear my system of the first treatment and to do tests. I have a MGA test to see it my heart can tolerate the alternative treatment.
My allergic reaction was getting worse. I wrote a letter to the doctor in follow up to my visit in order to describe the antihistamine and dosage that I was taking to help my through the allergic reaction. The nurse phoned me back and the doctor ordered a steroid that I took immediately. This is really helping. Within about 3 hours I noticed a difference. I get one week off drugs before beginning round two.
