Surgery day was very scary. I knew what to expect but I did not know how I would feel and how it would turn out. I am tired from the stress of waiting for a whole month. My bandages are so thick and sticky. I cannot remove them for four days. I will see the change to my body then.
My arm swings now and I am grateful to know that I can move. My throat hurts more than anything. I cannot believe how hard it was on my throat.
The anesthesiologist told me that my blood pressure was too high. He said I should be on drugs to lower it. I took out a card today at Safeway and I'm going to check my bloodpressure for a month, then take the readout to my GP. I'll see if I need drugs. Hope not. They're expensive. They did not release me for a long time after the surgery because my blood pressure would not come down.
Even today, when I checked it myself, it was abnormally high. I took a half aspirin and CoQ10. I feel better now.
I walk every day. Maybe I need to do a bit more than I'm doing.
