My friend's father recently passed away after many months of frail living. Prior to this, I've been through the same experience with my own parents. It has been very interesting seeing how this part of one's life goes. It is important information for when the time comes for yourself.
Anyway, back to the story of my friend's father -- he happened to receive The Secret just 12 months ago. He read The Secret over and over again. It provided him with a spiritual lift that I think he needed during that time - too frail to attend his church and too frail and isolated to watch TV, enjoy time with friends.
I also became interested in thinking about The Secret, but I found Wallace Wattles book equally fascinating (more about that in my next blog post). I shared many moments with my friend's father talking about spirituality and the meaning of life through discussing the magic of luck through gratitude. There is a time to consider luck and to be grateful for the luck we have right now. I know that my friend's dad rests in peace because he focused on gratitude. Be lucky, my friends and experience the magic of it through your attitude, gratitude, and acceptance that it will come to you.
Like my friend's father, you don't have to broadcast it, you can find peace within through adopting an attitude of being secretly lucky.
